Authorised newsroom staff and instructed infrastructure or legal providers may process the submission, including outside South Africa subject to POPIA safeguards. Unactioned tips are reviewed for deletion after 24 months; evidence supporting reporting may be kept for seven years or longer for a legal hold or public-interest archive.
